Advent Parish Mission: Dec 3rd-5th

SVDP would like to welcome Fr. Joseph Tuscan, OFM Cap, from the Province of St Augustine in Pittsburgh, PA. Fr Tuscan will be hosting a three-day mission conference Dec 3rd-5th (Monday-Wednesday) at 7pm in our church. Each session will last approximately an hour followed by confessions (Monday and Tuesday only). A Votive Mass of the Blessed Mother will be celebrated on the last day (Wednesday) and the talk that evening will occur within the homily.
The Mission theme is: “Why Stay Catholic? The Sprituality of the Cross.”
The Mission topics for each night are as follows:
Monday evening: The Church is Holy because His Sacred Word is Holy: Biblical and Spiritual Foundations.
Tuesday evening: The Church is Holy because the Saints are Holy: Saint Padre Pio, Blessed Solanus Casey and others.
Wednesday evening: The Church is Holy because the Sacraments are Holy: The Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Eucharist.
A free-will offering will be taken after each session. Please mark your calendars and join us for this faith-filled event.
